I want to file a lawsuit in court. Can i change to a G1 visa?

Just because you go to court doesn't mean you can change it 100%.

First of all, your reason for filing a lawsuit in court must be true. That's why the immigration office will take a close look at your reasons.
Second, if you leave korea, it must be difficult to proceed with a lawsuit and there must be a possibility of an adverse judgment.



Below are the detailed requirements.

- If you have hired an attorney and the attorney attend in court on your behalf, you cannot change G1. This is because even if you do not live in Korea, there will be no problems with lawsuit

- If you attend the court in person without hiring an attorney, you must prove that you have expenses for your stay. Also, you need someone to prove your truth.

- If you file a lawsuit with a loan document, it may not be possible to change to a G1 visa.
